MFin at OCC 21/11/23

Yearly gathering of students with their teachers and mentors at the Oxford and Cambridge Club. I chose this image to illustrate the evening because I really like this classical composition with a twist. You have there on the right hand side this arm and finger coming out of nowhere pointing indirectly towards the red mobile phone. You call that in photographic theory the "punctum". It is also a reference, an allegory and a satire of today's society where the new weapon or technology is being rivalled with classical painter and genius Michelangelo and the "Creation of David"
